o  Writers Group - Update from Jenni (5 minutes)
 + jenni: noone showed up
   + being moved to next month
   + brooks: plan for increasing attendance?

     + we should mount at least an e-marketing campaign

o  Yard Sale Update Round 2– Lola and Sherry (5 minutes)
 + lola/sherri - looking for weekend
 + sherri - emily and others will be willing to help
    + need more "cool yardsale stuff" 
 + lola - how to make a call for stuff?
    + e-marketing campaign
 + trish has racks and clothes we can use

o  VHSL – Update from Emily (5 minutes)
 + emily: diana beam - not responding to email, left note for her
   + she is in charge of VHSL this year
   + we know people on the judge list
   + should keep trying, not until sept - talking to people - susan vass, susan polly
   + no other work until the fall
 
 + emily: award idea for local high-schools
   + award for "the show that best addresses the community" - or some such thing
   + so we'd watch all their shows over the course of the year
   + greg: we should maybe spend this school year getting this plan together
   + some girl is now the head of gap theatre, wants help
   + as a way into one of the local schools

o  501(c)3 – Update from Chuck (5 minutes)
 + chuck: hasn't said anything about that
   + has almost all he needs
 + brooks: mission statement, 5 year plan is something we need to be thinking about
   + children's theatre
 + emily: we need to have a "five year plan" meeting
 + this will be another marathon meeting
   + jeff will schedule something
   + who should be there? everyone

+ trish: knows someone who is an artist, produces canvases, could do a show in the next year
+ jeff: talked to heath about doing a show in the office, fyi

+ greg: street entertainment application distributed
  + sdda has created such a thing
  + last part of june, kickoff event - June 27th, 5-9pm
  + start of "extended hour's program"
  + just wanted to let us know

	o Cannibal The Musical – Proposal From Jenni (15 Minutes) 
	  + wants $750
	  + calendar and stuff
	  + good producer
	  + brooks: wants sale of ads based on the year-long 
	    + why only 6 shows: 
	      + jenni: money conerns
	      + emily: increase funding to include two more shows
	      + MOTION, PASSES: increases to 8 shows, increasing budget to $870
	    + location confirmation: 
	  + emily: subject matter, exposing sidney to canibalism okay?
	    + jenni: yes, definately
	  + greg: tickets to $10 - no good, wants $8
	  + jenni: $6 if you are in costume

 + the proposal for the session on barhoppers was rejected for formal presentation
 + reminder: aug 4th-10th - cost: $400 if member, for a week - room/board  - membership:$50ish

o  New Member Ideas (5 minutes)
 + greg: ed cooper - contacted, seemed excited
   + this is an ex-shenanarts guy, tommy, joeseph
   + good artist person with a theatre background
   + he's on the myspace (fruity mere-men)
   + greg and emily going to meet him
 + greg: david webster - acting for film guy, jenni suggested earlier
   + jenni and trish going to meet him
 + brooks: andi arndt - harrisonburg
   + ex-president of valley playhouse
   + works for wmra
   + will be sending him an e-mail
   + desires her to be some sort of advisory board-member

o 800 Space Info and Ideas – Info from Emily (10 minutes)
 + emily: elane rose - putting in soul food resturant - hiring non-violent criminals
   + wants to be more involved with the community
   + idea: we can get involved with them doing art in their space
   + want to use their space and the criminals to perform
   + greg: this thing is a SAW 2010 thing
   + emily: still wants to get involved with elaine and doing stuff in this space
   + chris: we can maybe get some of these people as volunteers
   + lola: has info about working with working with non-violent criminals
   + greg: be careful about getting two wrapped up in the project until we see how it turns out

+ brooks: web-site
  + will be having work done
  + brooks and jeff going to be turning this into a web community
